Jason Wright is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author of Christmas Jars, The Wednesday Letters, and many others.
Christmas Jars was released as a Fathom Event feature film in 2019 and is now available on Apple TV and other streaming services.
The Wednesday Letters is also in active film development and several others are in earlier stages.
His future projects include a novel, The Bus to Gulf Breeze, and a nonfiction project, The Art of Mending Fences.
Hundreds of Jason's columns have appeared in over 100 newspapers, magazines and web sites across the United States including The Washington Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Deseret News, The Northern Virginia Daily, FoxNews.com, and Forbes.
Jason is also a popular speaker who speaks on the miracle of opening doors, faith, forgiveness, failure, the Christmas Jars movement, the lost art of letter writing, and many other topics.
Each year Jason also visits schools across the country and presents assemblies and writing workshops to students at all ages.
Jason has been seen on CNN, FoxNews, C-SPAN, and on dozens of local television stations around the country.
Jason grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, but has also lived in Germany, Illinois, Brazil, Oregon and Utah.
In 2007, while researching Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley for his novel The Wednesday Letters, Jason fell so in love with the area that he moved his family an hour westward from northern Virginia to Woodstock.
Jason is married to Kodi Erekson Wright. They have two girls, two boys, all listed on the dedication page. They also claim Troy, a son-in-law they quite like and two grandchildren they like even more, Gary and Annie.
