Co-founder of Dopamine; Head of Product & Behavioral Sciences at Walmart

Jason Hreha is Head of Product at Walmart, where he's co-founded an industry-changing behavioral science unit. He works on different projects across the entire business, applying the latest behavioral science findings and methodologies to key initiatives.

As well, he is the co-founder of Dopamine, LLC a consultancy firm focused on psychology driven product strategy and UX Design.

Previously, he served as Head of Product for Rally.com, Vice President of Product for Handshake, Director of Product at Quixey, and a researcher for BJ Fogg in the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab, where he created the world’s first taxonomy of human behavior, complete with comprehensive strategies. This was used as the applied psychology framework for the World Economic Forum in Davos (2011).

In recent years, he has been a collaborator with Dan Ariely, a behavioral economist, to author a book on how to apply behavioral economics to business, product, and marketing problems entitled Hacking Human Nature for Good: A Practical Guide to Changing Human Behavior.

Hreha is a User Experience Advisor for 500 Startups and a mentor for the Thiel Foundation’s 20 Under 20 Program. His background is in design and neuroscience / behavioral science.

He studied neuroscience at Stanford University.
