Actor and writer Jason Jones rose to fame as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning program “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” since 2005. In addition to “The Daily Show”, Jones recurred on the hit CBS show “How I Met Your Mother”, CMT’s “Bounty Hunters” and Amazon Prime’s “Creative Galaxy”. Jason left “The Daily Show” earlier this year to star in his new TBS series “Vacationland” which he is writing and executive producing with his wife and fellow former Daily Show Correspondent Samantha Bee. On the feature side, Jones has appeared in “The Switch”, “Date Night”, “All About Steve”, “Pitch Perfect” “The Art of the Steal” and most recently “Pitch Perfect 2” among others. Jones wrote and performed in the films “Coopers’ Camera”, “The Bobroom”, “Ham & Cheese” and the short film “Shotgun Harley” which he also directed. Jones’ upcoming feature releases include “Hot Tub Time Machine 2” and “Stereotypically You”.

Jones received three Canadian Comedy Award nominations for writing and performing on “Ham & Cheese” and “The Bobroom.” He attended the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto, Ontario, where he minored in botany and is a conservatory trained cellist.
