Jason Kelce
Former All-Pro Offensive Lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles; Super Bowl LII Champion; Sports Broadcaster & Co-Host of the "New Heights" Podcast
Jason Kelce is a former football center who played his entire 13-year career for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and is the older brother of Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. Kelce announced his retirement on March 4, 2024, closing the book on a career worthy of Hall of Fame consideration.
A sixth-round draft selection in 2011, Kelce started his career as a walk-on running back, then switched to fullback and finally to offensive line. He ran the fastest 40-yard dash time of all offensive linemen at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine (4.89 seconds). Over the course of his career, he played a key role in the Philadelphia Eagles' victory in Super Bowl LII and started his 100th straight game with the Eagles in 2020. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls and named first-team All-Pro for the sixth time in 2023, demonstrating his high level of play. He even broke the Eagles record for most consecutive starts in 2023.
In addition to his impressive accomplishments on the field, Kelce also made several media appearances. Notably, he appeared on the TV show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" to celebrate the Eagles' Super Bowl victory and was involved in a skit on "Saturday Night Live" with his brother Travis. He was featured in a documentary titled "Kelce" released on Amazon Prime Video. Alongside his brother, he hosts a weekly podcast called "New Heights," where they share insights about their games, unique perspectives on trending NFL news, and entertaining stories from their combined 21 years in the league. Kelce has also made appearances on Amazon's "Thursday Night Football" and participated in WrestleMania XL. His post-NFL broadcasting career started with ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown," and in 2025, his show "They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce" will air for five consecutive Friday nights from the final week of the NFL regular season until Pro Bowl Weekend.
