The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick was born July 5, 1976 and was the runner-up on Season 4 of The Bachelorette and the Bachelor of the 13th season of the reality dating show The Bachelor.

Mesnick is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Washington at the age of eight and received his BA in psychology at the University of Washington. Since his 2006 divorce from Hilary Buckholz-Monrean, he has raised his son, Ty, as a single father. Mesnick is an account executive in estate and legacy planning, and is a "big brother" for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America.

He dated DeAnna Pappas on The Bachelorette and was one of the final two suitors, but in the end Pappas chose Jesse Csincsak. Mesnick was chosen to be the next Bachelor, however, and although the new season is still airing, he has already said that he did find love on ABC's reality dating series. "I'm engaged!" Mesnick says. "I found exactly what I was hoping for, what I was looking for. I'm completely in love.
