Jason A. Shapiro, MD is a BoardCertified Internal Medicine Physician, with a focus in Aesthetic Medicine and Medical Director of Tribeca Med-aesthetics. Tribeca Med-aesthetics is a medical practice which focuses on safe, minimally-invasive techniques to achieve facial and body rejuvenation, as well as integrating internal medicine for maintaining our patients’ health. Within 48hours, we received 1200 essays. we chose 50 grant winners, 37 of which stayed in the program where they were seen and treated by Dr. Shapiro, then they were given a complimentary hair styling by a local hair salon, followed by complimentary job interview placement with a local employment firm. We did approx. $3,000 - $5,000 worth of minimally invasive cosmetic medical procedures on each grant winner at no charge and this resulted in 14 of 37 people gainfully employed.
