Jason Sudeikis is an award-winning actor, comedian, producer, and writer best known for his role as the buoyant optimist "Ted Lasso" in the Apple TV+ series he co-created. The series was honored with a Peabody Award “for offering the perfect counter to the enduring prevalence of toxic masculinity, both on-screen and off, in a moment when the nation truly needs inspiring models of kindness.” Its first season garnered 7 Primetime Emmy Awards after being nominated for a historic 20. Following its final season, the show received another 20 nominations at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning four total, including Outstanding Comedy Series, acting awards for Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein, and a directing award for MJ Delaney.

Sudeikis has received multiple awards for his performance in Ted Lasso, including four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. The Writers Guild of America recognized him and the show with awards for “Best Comedy Series” and “Best New Series.” His performance earned him recognition as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people and a spot on the Bloomberg 50 list.

Best known for his work on "Saturday Night Live," where he was a cast member for eight years, Sudeikis has had an impressive career in both mainstream and independent films. His leading roles include "Horrible Bosses," "We’re the Millers," and "Horrible Bosses 2," while he has also starred in smaller films like "Drinking Buddies," "Sleeping with Other People," and "Colossal." Additionally, he provided voice work for animated hits like "The Angry Birds Movie" and "Next Gen" and is set to reprise his voice role as Red in "The Angry Birds Movie 3."

Sudeikis has made his mark on television with recurring roles in series like "30 Rock," "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "The Last Man on Earth." He hosted "Saturday Night Live" in a memorable episode and has voiced the character Bryce Fowler in the ongoing series "Hit Monkey." Outside of acting, he remains actively involved in charity work, hosting events like the Big Slick fundraiser, which has raised over $21 million for the Cancer Center at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, and the benefit concert Thundergong! for Steps of Faith.

Born in Fairfax, Virginia, and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, Sudeikis discovered his passion for comedy while attending the ComedySportz Theater in Kansas City. He later joined renowned improv companies in Chicago and became a founding member of The Second City Las Vegas. Now residing in New York City, Sudeikis continues to balance his successful career in entertainment with his dedication to philanthropy.
