As a world traveler, Cameron's interest shifted to African diaspora travel after a life-changing trip to Ghana. His experience opened the door to more exploration on the continent of Africa. Theses adventures led him to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro , to 23 African countries as well as 20 additional countries in Central and South America. In April of 2021, Cameron was granted dual citizenship in Sierra Leone.

Cameron introduced "The Adventures of Darren and Destiny" children’s book series in 2020. These books feature twins Darren and Destiny as they travel to different African diaspora destinations with their parents. In addition to the book series, Cameron created an animated series and live stage production based on these adventures.

As a result of Cameron's experiences, Maximum Impact Travel was launched with an emphasis on African diaspora travels around the globe.
