Chief Counsel at American Center for Law and Justice; Lawyer for Donald Trump During Impeachment Trials

Jay Sekulow is chief counsel at the American Center for Law & Justice. He hosts a radio and television talk show and is a frequent guest commentator on the Christian Broadcasting Network and the Fox News Channel. A self-described Messianic Jew, Sekulow built a legal and media empire over a thirty-year period by representing conservative, religious, pro-life groups.

Sekulow is on President Donald Trump's personal legal team, which is advising the president in connection with the conspiracy investigation, by a team led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller and by various Congressional committees, into links between Trump associates and Russian officials.

At the U.S. Supreme Court, Jay Sekulow has argued 12 cases. Several of these are landmark cases that have become part of the legal landscape in the area of religious liberty litigation.

Sekulow believes that religious liberty is an international right and a global concern. He launched the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) in Strasbourg, France, which is the seat of the European Court of Human Rights. Jay Sekulow serves as Chief Counsel of the ECLJ and has opened offices around the world in: France, Russia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Pakistan and Israel.

He has also served as a faculty member for the Office of Legal Education at the United States Department of Justice. As a member of the faculty, he instructed Assistant United States Attorneys and investigators in the First Amendment issues associated with prosecution of obscenity.

With an ongoing commitment to education, Jay Sekulow is dedicated to training the next generation of religious liberty experts. The ACLJ provides legal training for law students from around the globe, reaching out through its offices at Regent University in Virginia and at Handong University in South Korea.
