Jean Chatzky

Financial Editor of NBC's TODAY Show, Award-Winning Personal Finance Journalist & Host of the "HerMoney" Podcast

Jean Chatzky is the founder and CEO of HerMoney Media, a digital media company focused on personal finance specifically for women, and co-host of the national radio show "Everyday Wealth." The longtime financial editor of NBC "Today" and Financial Ambassador for AARP, she is also a best-selling author whose mission is to help simplify money matters, increasing financial literacy both now and for the future.

Chatzky's idea for HerMoney came from her three decades of experience as a personal finance journalist, where she observed that women are often reluctant to talk about money in public. She co-founded the company to inspire women to better manage their personal finances so they can develop long-term security and confidence. Through HerMoney, she produces and hosts the "HerMoney with Jean Chatzky" podcast, two weekly newsletters and original personal finance content on her site. She has also launched two coaching programs: FinanceFixx for budgeting and InvestingFixx, a women's investing club.

Chatzky is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author whose books include "Women with Money: The Judgment-Free Guide to Creating the Joyful, Less Stressed, Purposeful (and Yes, Rich) Life You Deserve," "How to Money: Your Ultimate Visual Guide to the Basics of Finance" geared towards teens and young adults; and "Make Money, Not Excuses: Wake Up, Take Charge, and Overcome Your Financial Fears Forever." A frequent contributor to publications, she has been nominated twice for National Magazine Awards and appears on Forbes' 2023 "50 Over 50" list.

But as a decade of research into neuroeconomics and behavioral psychology has revealed, we are also uniquely qualified to handle them. I’ll take you through the steps women need to take today to live comfortably (and worry-free) tomorrow.
