Jeannie Cochran DuBose, M.S., is a nationally recognized speaker who presents to audiences across the country regarding a variety of personal growth topics. She is author and illustrator of The Mother Daughter Dance, the “poignantly written, beautifully illustrated” tribute to the wrenching yet meaningful passages of the mother-daughter relationship. Jeannie’s unique background and stimulating approach to her subject matter provides audiences with a fresh lens for viewing their own lives. Audiences repeatedly remark on Jeannie’s ability to blend humor and levity with the substantial depth of her subject matter.

Upon her graduation from Vanderbilt University, Jeannie was awarded the Wattles Fellowship to work in England as a broker at Lloyds of London. The following year she moved to a remote village in the western province of Kenya where she taught high school English.

After returning to the United States, Jeannie enjoyed five year tenure as a financial representative for The Northwestern Financial Network. She continued her academic training at Georgia State University, graduating with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. She practiced as a marriage and family therapist for six years before starting a family of her own. Jeannie currently serves as President to the Advisory Board of The Odyssey Family Counseling Center.

Jeannie lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three children.
