Jeannine Sargent is President of Innovation and New Ventures at Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX). Flex is the Sketch-to-Scale™ solutions provider that designs and builds intelligent products for a connected world. With approximately 200,000 professionals across 30 countries, Flex provides innovative design, engineering, manufacturing, real-time supply chain insight and logistics services to companies of all sizes in various industries and end-markets.

In her current role, Ms. Sargent is responsible for worldwide innovation activities including innovation labs, global design and engineering, launching new product businesses, the Lab IX tech accelerator, and new venture investments for Flex. Ms. Sargent brings over 25 years of international P&L operating management and M&A and business strategy experience across several emerging technology industries including the Internet of Things, semiconductor, software, energy, and electronics design and manufacturing. She has successfully built and scaled venture-backed and public high-tech companies in growth markets and launched multiple disruptive hardware and software products during her career.

Prior to this position, Ms. Sargent was President of Energy at Flex. Previously, she was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Oerlikon Solar, based in Switzerland, and an Executive-in-Residence and Venture Advisor at Crosslink Capital. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sargent held various executive and management positions at Veeco Instruments, Voyan Technology, Gasonics, Tencor Instruments and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Ms. Sargent serves on the Board of Northeastern University Corporation and VUV Analytics. Current advisory board roles include Digital Advisory Board at BASF, Fluidic Energy, and MC10. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University and has completed advanced coursework and executive graduate programs at the Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business and INSEAD, Lausanne.
