Jeffrey Harmening is CEO and chairman of the board of General Mills. Through acquisitions of Blue Buffalo, Annie’s, and EPIC Provisions, he has guided the company to a leading position in the pet and natural and organic segments and is reshaping its portfolio for further growth. Harmening previously served as president and COO of General Mills, COO of US retail, and CEO of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture of General Mills and Nestlé. He joined General Mills in 1994. With roots as a marketer, Harmening is a veteran of the ever-evolving food industry.
