Making fun of people is a way of life for Jeffrey Ross, who is both feared and revered for his appearances at celebrity roasts.

Called "an heir apparent to such old-school masters as Buddy Hackett and Rodney Dangerfield" by the New York Times, Ross is also the current New York Friars' Club "Roastmaster General." He has memorably and uproariously roasted some of our favorite celebrities, from older-than-dirt Cloris Leachman to dirty old Hugh Hefner, to the beautiful Pamela Anderson and the handsome Bea Arthur. (He even claims to have saved Courtney Love's life with his own brutal brand of tough love.)

His first book, I Only Roast The Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges, recounts his rise to stardom and includes tips on writing roast jokes and how to put on a roast. In August 2012, Jeff Ross debuted his weekly Comedy Central show The Burn, which airs Tuesdays at 10:30pm.

He appeared in The Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers and the Roast of David Hasselhoff and stars in a popular Comedy Central stand-up DVD, Jeffrey Ross: No Offense -- Live From New Jersey. He made his directorial debut with Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie, an award-winning documentary he directed about his experience entertaining U.S. troops in Iraq. Ross has appeared on HBO's Six Feet Under, Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program, and Showtime's Weeds. In film, he has appeared in Stuck on You and the cult favorite The Aristocrats (NOT the Disney movie with a similar name!).

He also competed on Dancing With The Stars, where he was accidentally poked in the eye by his partner, resulting in a scratched cornea. To add insult to injury, they were the first couple to be eliminated.
