Washington writer, Author, and Editor of JFK Facts

Morley has written about the JFK story for national publications and was awarded the 2009 PEN/Oakland Censorship Award for his JFK reporting. He is author of Our Man in Mexico; Winston Scott and the Hidden History of the CIA (University Press of Kansas, 2008).

Morley is a veteran Washington journalist. He started his career as an editor at the New Republic. He also served as Washington correspondent for The Nation and Spin magazine. From 1992 to 2007, he worked at the Washington Post as an editor in the "Sunday Outlook" section, a reporter in the Metro section, and as author of the "World Opinion Roundup" column for washingtonpost.com.

Morley has been published in The Washington Post, New York Review of Books, The Nation, The New Republic, Slate, American Prospect, Spin, Rolling Stone, The Los Angeles Times, Foreign Service Journal, and the New York Observer. Morley's lastest work, Snow-Storm in August was published by Nan Talese/Doubleday in July 2012.
