Jeffrey P. Pellegrino  

Military Fellow, International Security Program

LtCol Jeffrey P. Pellegrino is the U.S. Marine Corps fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. A KC130 and C20 pilot, he has served operationally in CONUS and overseas. Most recently, he completed a tour as commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, HI. Prior command assignments were with KC130 squadrons in San Diego, CA, and Cherry Point, NC. Staff assignments have included tours with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing G3 and Headquarters Marine Corps Aviation Requirements Branch. He has participated in Operations NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM.

LtCol Pellegrino graduated with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1994, with a B.S. degree in economics. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2), the Air Medal (8), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2), as well as various campaign medals.
