Emmy Award-Winning Journalist, Senior Correspondent & Columnist for The Undefeated

Emmy Award-winning journalist Jemele Hill is the co-founder of Lodge Freeway Media and a staff writer for The Atlantic.

Hill was previously the chief correspondent and senior columnist for The Undefeated, ESPN’s content initiative exploring the intersections of sports, race and culture. In 2019, Hill launched her podcast, "Jemele Hill is Unbothered", which covers sports, politics and culture. New episodes air twice during the week on Spotify.

In 2020, Hill launched a twice-weekly podcast with Van Lathan on The Ringer called Way Down in the Hole, which recaps each episode of HBO's The Wire.

In August 2020, Hill began co-hosting "Cari & Jemele (Won't) Stick to Sports" with Cari Champion on the Vice on TV network.

A native of Detroit, Hill is a Michigan State Alum.
