Jen-Hsun Huang

Founder and CEO, NVIDIA

Twenty-five years ago, Jen-Hsun Huang founded NVIDIA with Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem to solve the problem of 3D graphics for the PC. Their invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing.

GPU computing went on to ignite modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world.

Today, NVIDIA is 12,000 people strong and growing. In 2018, they were included among Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Companies,” and MIT Tech Review’s “50 Smartest Companies,” among others.
