Jen Maxfield is an Emmy-award winning reporter and anchor, Columbia University adjunct professor and author. Maxfield is known as a seasoned correspondent for NBC New York, and operates from the NBC's Fort Lee offices. Since her tenure began, Maxfield has adeptly reported on a diverse range of significant events, from the resignation of New Jersey Governor James McGreevey to the 2016 New York/New Jersey terror attacks. Notably, her coverage has also encompassed the "Miracle on the Hudson" and Superstorm Sandy.

Prior to joining NBC New York, Maxfield was an integral part of WABC's Eyewitness News in New York City from 2002 to 2013. Her academic credentials include a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia College and an M.S. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
