Jenna Ushkowitz
Tony Award Winning Actress & Producer; Known for her Role as Tina Cohen-Chang on "Glee"
Jenna Ushkowitz, a two-time Tony Award winner, is widely recognized for her portrayal of Tina Cohen-Chang in the 3-time Emmy nominated FOX television series "Glee." In addition to her acting credits, Jenna has made impressive strides as a producer, earning her a Tony Award for her debut with the Broadway revival of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty’s "Once on This Island." She also co-produced the West End production of "The Jungle, Be More Chill," and the Broadway play "The Inheritance," which earned her a second Tony Award in 2020.
In 2016, Jenna returned to Broadway for a temporary role as Dawn in the Tony-nominated musical "Waitress" and appeared in the musical film "Hello, Again," alongside Audra McDonald, Cheyenne Jackson, and Martha Plimpton. Ushkowitz also served as the executive producer of "Twinsters," a film documentary about two identical twins separated at birth and then reunited. Further cementing her passion for adoption advocacy, she co-founded Kindred: The Foundation for Adoption in 2014, providing support for adoptees and their families.
As a versatile performer, Jenna has taken on roles in various productions, such as Julia Gulia in "The Wedding Singer" at the Pittsburgh CLO and a special production of "Hair" at the Hollywood Bowl in 2014. Prior to Glee, Jenna made her Broadway debut in the 1996 revival of "The King and I," and returned to Broadway in the Tony Award-winning production of "Spring Awakening." Jenna released her first memoir, “Choosing Glee” in May 2013.
Alongside her "Glee" co-star Kevin McHale, she launched the podcast "Showmance" in 2019, followed by their latest podcast project, "And That's What You Really Missed" on iHeartRadio, announced in September 2022. She also co-founded the podcast network At Will Radio in 2016.
