Jennifer Meyer
High-End Jewelry Designer with Celebrity Clients Such as Kourtney Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez
Jennifer Meyer Maguire’s passion for jewelry design began at the young age of 6, when her beloved grandmother taught her the art of creating enamel jewelry. Though she loved watching and learning the craft, she didn’t realize at the time that she would one day follow in her grandmother’s footsteps. As an adult, Jennifer entered the fashion industry working in the public relations department for two of the world’s leading fashion houses – Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. Witnessing these icons work through their design process inspired Jennifer to explore the creative side of the business, and in 2005 she launched her eponymous label, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry.
Her goal when starting the collection was to create elegant, yet substantial pieces for women to wear every day. She wanted pieces that were classic and clean, personal and versatile, and most importantly that would withstand the test of time. The beauty of the collection is found in the quality of the delicate designs, and the unexpected details that are infused in every piece. Signature pieces include the wishbone necklace, the nameplate necklace and the initial Pendant, all of which can be seen on her many loyal fans that include some of the world’s most stylish women such as Katie Holmes, Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson, to name a few.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jennifer’s early collections were a reflection of her lifestyle and included nature inspired pieces such as leaves and hammered gold discs. Jennifer continues to find inspiration from her every day surroundings as well as her world travels, which is displayed in her ever changing and expanding collections. She has recently begun designing larger pieces with bold stones to compliment her everyday delicate signatures. The complete collection incorporates white, yellow and rose 18-karat gold pieces with delicate precious and semi-precious stone accents such as diamonds, black diamonds, turquoise, rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
Ultimately, Jennifer designs for the everyday woman. “Ask any woman where they received or bought a certain piece of jewelry and they will tell you a story,” explains Jennifer, pointing out the significance most women place on jewelry. Made by hand and with love in Los Angeles, Jennifer’s jewelry is the perfect balance of understated elegance and unparalleled quality.
