Jenny Yang is a Taiwanese-American comedian, writer, and producer known for her sharp, witty humor and social commentary. She began her career in stand-up comedy after initially working in politics as a labor organizer, drawing from her unique experiences to craft material that resonates with diverse audiences. Yang is a former staff writer and performer on E!’s late-night talk show “Busy Tonight” and has written for shows like “Last Man Standing” and “Tig Notaro's One Mississippi.”

In addition to her stand-up performances, Jenny Yang is also the creator and host of “The Comedy Comedy Festival: A Comedy Festival,” which celebrates Asian-American comedic talent. She’s a co-founder of Disoriented Comedy, the first-ever Asian-American female stand-up comedy tour. Her comedy often addresses issues of race, gender, and identity, making her a prominent voice in the comedy scene advocating for representation and social justice.
