Jeremy Gardner is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and venture capitalist in focused on emerging industries such as blockchain technology, cannabis, artificial intelligence and, now, psychedelics.

Gardner is one of the most well-known entrepreneurs and early evangelists in the crypto space. He founded the Blockchain Education Network (BEN), a global educational nonprofit, in 2014. Shortly after, Gardner co-founded Augur, the decentralized prediction market platform, and led their ICO— the first ever on Ethereum and first “utility token.” He worked as an entrepreneur-in-residence and investor at Blockchain Capital and started, SAAVHA, a legacy database security firm. He served as the founding editor-in-chief of Distributed Magazine.

In 2018, Gardner co-founded Ausum Ventures, a hybrid venture-hedge fund focused on the intersection of blockchain technology and social impact. He has invested in over 100 startups as an angel and VC, which are worth tens of billions of dollars today.

He is currently the founder and CEO of MadeMan, a men’s skincare startup as well as founder and managing partner of Mystic Ventures, a psychedelic medicine fund.
