Dr. Jeremy M. Levin, D.Phil., MB, B.Chir served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited from May 9, 2012 to October 30, 2013. Dr. Levin served as the President of ZymoGenetics, Inc. since October 12, 2010. He served as the President of Medarex, Inc. since September 2009. He served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Alliances and Transactions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company since 2010. He served as Senior Vice President of External Science Technology and Licensing of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., since September 29, 2007. Dr. Levin served as the Global head of Business Development and strategic alliances at the Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Predix Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. was appointed as Physiome Sciences’ Chief Executive Officer in 2000. From 1998 to 1999, he served as Managing Director of Perseus Capital LLC and from 1992 to 1998, Dr. Levin served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cadus Pharmaceutical Corporation.

Prior to 1992, he served as Vice President at IG Laboratories, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genzyme Corporation. He has deep experience in the global pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industry He serves as Chairman of Ovid Therapeutics Inc. From 1996 to 2000, he served as the Chairman of the Board at Physiome Sciences Inc. He served as the Chairman of Cadus Pharmaceutical Corporation from 1996 to 1998. He has been an Additional Independent Director at Biocon Limited since January 2015. He serves as a Director of Biotechnology Institute. Dr. Levin has served on the boards of the Emerging Companies Section of the Biotechnology Industry Organization and on the Board of Vialactia, an agricultural genetics company. He has been a Director of Medarex, Inc. since September 2009 and ZymoGenetics, Inc. since October 12, 2010. He served as a Director of Predix Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. He served as a Director of Orchid Cellmark Inc. from May 1998 to August 11, 2003. Dr. Levin has a Doctorate (D.Phil) from the University of Oxford as well as degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BChir) from the University of Cambridge. He has practiced internal medicine at University Hospitals in England, Switzerland and South Africa.
