Jeremy London was kidnapped in his own car, held at gunpoint, forced to do drugs and hand out booze before he escaped from his captors, according to police. The story so far goes like this: Jeremy was changing a tire in Palm Springs late on the evening of June 10 when he was approached by "several men."

They helped Jeremy change the tire, and he offered them a ride home. "A short time later, he was held at gunpoint in the vehicle by one of the occupants," police said. "The gunman forced London to drive to various locations throughout the city, purchase alcohol and use illicit drugs."

Sergeant Steve Douglas, from the Palm Springs Police Department, told RadarOnline.com that police have arrested at least one suspect, Brandon Adams, 26, who has been charged with several felonies inconnection with the case, including kidnapping for ransom with inury and carjacking. Douglas said London escaped his captors at approximately 3 AM the next day.

"He told officers that he was forced to smoke dope and then purchase booze and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs,” Douglas said.

Jeremy London has a history of drug abuse. The Party of Five actor was in a rehabilitation center as late as last September to receive treatment for an addiction to prescription pills.
