Jeremy Schwartz is a former CEO and MD of some of the world's most iconic brands, including The Body Shop, Pandora, and L’Oréal UK, as well as serving as Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Europe and Sainsbury's Supermarkets. He started his career at The Boston Consulting Group.
Known for his leadership roles at Coca-Cola, where he contributed to the invention of Coke Zero generating substantial revenue, Schwartz's notable career achievements include spearheading successful turnarounds at Pandora and The Body Shop, collectively enhancing shareholder value by over $20 billion. Since 2002, he has integrated sustainability initiatives into business models to drive profitability and positive societal and environmental impacts. His leadership expanded during his tenure as CEO of The Body Shop and continues in his current role as Chairman of Kantar's Sustainability practice. Under his guidance, Kantar has been recognized by Forbes as one of the world's leading sustainability consultancies, growing from a startup to $150 million in two years with clients like Google, Unilever, and Diageo.
In addition to his sustainability work, Schwartz leads Maxius Advisory ESG, a consultancy aiding CEOs and leadership teams in the property, construction, and manufacturing sectors in Europe and the US to implement sustainable solutions through AI-led innovation. He also delivers keynotes on a range of topics including leadership, digital and AI transformation, and consumer engagement. Known for his dynamic speaking style, Schwartz has been impactful at various international forums, including the No Bullsh*t! event focused on corporate responsibility. He is also an avid mountaineer, which complements his professional expertise in leadership and team motivation.
