Stress in a Dress

A Laughter-Filled-Learning and Stress-Busting-“Gift”for Stressed-Out Women…and the Men Who Love, Live, Learn, Play — and Work with — Us!

Prior to 1995, over 83% of stress research studied only males. That’s right…only 17% of the people studied, in stress research before 1995, were female. Through recent scientific research we now appreciate that:

  • Our bodies, and minds, respond very differently.
  • Many men have natural “fight or flight” stress responses.
  • Many women need “tend and befriend” responses to cope with stress.
  • We all need frequent stress recovery opportunities.

Stress-Busting Highlights:

  • Stress Physiology & Psychology
  • Identifying Your Stress Triggers
  • Avoiding “Emotional Hijacking”
  • New Research on the Key Role Gender Plays in Stress & Distress
  • Ideal Stress Recovery for the Unique Human Being You Are

Jeri Mae was very expressive and fun. I’m a counselor and she’s as good as a year of therapy!
