Jerry Moe, MA, is the Senior Clinical Advisor at the National Association for Children Impacted by Addiction (NACoA). He is the National Director of Children’s Programs, Emeritus, at Hazelden Betty Ford. Moe is also an author, speaker and consultant on issues for children and families hurt by addiction. He has spent over four decades doing prevention in the treatment and recovery worlds. Among his over twenty books are "Through a Child’s Eyes: Understanding Addiction and Recovery" and the Beamer Series for kids. Moe’s work is featured in the documentary "Lost Childhood" (as seen on PBS) and has contributed to Emmy Award- winning programs on both Nickelodeon and Sesame Street.

Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School Commencement Address
Almost three years after retiring from the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, beloved and internationally renowned children's counselor Jerry Moe will return to deliver the 25th Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School commencement address on April 19. Moe routinely moves audiences to tears with his deep empathy and passion for young children in families facing addiction. He will thank the counseling graduates for choosing a high-demand profession helping people break through and overcome substance use and mental health issues. And he will remind them not to forget about the kids.
