Jesse Itzler
Co-Founder of Marquis Jets & Zico Coconut Water, Co-Owner of the Atlanta Hawks & NY Times Best-Selling Author, "Living with a SEAL"
A successful serial entrepreneur, Jesse Itzler’s mission is to continually raise the bar and build his LIFE RESUME. With a passion for endurance challenges, he completed Ultraman in 2022 at the age of 53, which entails a 6.2 mile open water swim, 261.4 mile bike, and 52.4 mile run. In the same year, he sold his endurance hiking company, 29029 Everesting, to iFit.
Itzler's career spans various industries and roles. He completed a 100-mile running race, sold Marquis Jet to Warren Buffett in 2010, and partnered with Zico Coconut Water which was sold to Coca-Cola in 2013. His early career included starting as a rapper on MTV in 1991, managing the renowned hip hop band Run-DMC, and writing the anthem for the NY Knicks. Itzler emphasizes, "you don’t have to be the smartest in the room, but you have to be the most passionate." He imparts his principles and best practices through his online course and coaching program, which has helped thousands to adopt his lifestyle approach.
When not engaging in extreme fitness challenges, Itzler explores wellness through other dimensions. He trains with Navy Seals, as shared in his book "Living with A Seal", and gains spiritual insights from monks, detailed in "Living with Monks". His latest venture, All Day Running Co., combines race-like challenges (half-marathons, marathons, etc.) with retreat-like experiences involving cold and heat exposure. Outside of his professional endeavors, Itzler values his family the most. Together with his wife, Sara Blakely, founder of SPANX, they are parents to three sons and a daughter, balancing a busy household.
