Jihad Kawas is the co-founder & CEO at Saily Inc, a company that developed one of the top ranking shopping apps on the App Store with over 500,000 users and became part of Japan's billion-dollar commerce giant Mercari, Inc in 2017. A recipient of the $100K Thiel Fellowship grant and a college dropout, the 21 year old Lebanese currently resides in Silicon Valley. Jihad has also kept a keen interest in education reformation and has delivered two TED talks on this matter. Jihad's work has attracted press attention from around the world and has been featured in publications like Forbes, The Huffington Post, Entrepreneur Magazine, Yahoo! Finance, Bloomberg Businessweek, Mashable, and VICE. Jihad is on the list of Forbes 30 Under 30, has been honored "Young Entrepreneur Of The Year" in 2016 by Entrepreneur Magazine, posed for the cover of Arabian Business Magazine and is currently ranked one of the most influential young arabs in the world by the same publication.
