Jill Campbell      

Director/Producer - On turning your life around.

Jill Campbell is a producer, writer editor and director of documentaries, film and theatre. She began her career as a Production Assistant at the Public Theatre in New York City running lines with Morgan Freeman. In 2013 Jill was one of 20 filmmakers awarded a scholarship to Killer Film’s/Stony Brook Southampton’s 20/20/20 program. Jill is an accomplished documentary producer who has worked on many feature length and short documentaries including: “Out of Print​” (Tribeca Film Festival), “N​ever Stand Still” (​Lincoln Center) and “Dancing Across Borders”(​First Run Features). Most recently Jill directed, produced and wrote the feature length documentary “M​r. Chibbs” (Abramorama) ​an observational portrait of NBA All-­Star Kenny Anderson. Jill is also a produced playwright with plays appearing at the Dublin Fringe Festival, Mabou Mines and the famed La MaMa Theatre in New York City. Jill was selected as a resident artist at Mabou Mines Theatre Company and has participated in CBS’ Writers’ Development Program. Jill spent six years managing the production company 123 Productions. She is presently a candidate for her MFA in new media and documentary at Hunter College’s IMA program. Jill is a member of NYWIFT and the PGA.
