JIMPACT's President and CEO, Jim Smith, Jr. is the author of the inspirational book From Average to Awesome: Lessons for Living an Extraordinary Life and the co-author of the leadership book The Masters of Success (along with Ken Blanchard, Jack Canfield, Mark Van Hoozer, John Christensen and others). His book on facilitation, presentation and training skills, Crash and Learn: 600 Road Tested Tips to Keep Audiences Fired Up and Engaged! is on the American Society for Training and Development's bestseller list.

Prior to forming JIMPACT, Jim worked in leadership positions for the Bob Pike Group, Simmons Associates, CoreStates Bank, the Vanguard Group of Investments and Prudential's American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Operations.

His workshops and keynotes have taken him to 42 states, the Netherlands, China, Turkey, Ireland, Spain and England. Called "Mr. Energy," Jim is also an adjunct faculty member for the Rutgers Executive MBA Program.
