Grammy Award-Winning Blues-Rock Guitarist & Older Brother of the Late Blues Legend Stevie Ray Vaughan

Jimmie Vaughan is a Grammy Award-winning blues-rock guitarist and singer based in Austin, Texas. He is the older brother of the late Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Several notable blues guitarists have had a significant influence on Vaughan's playing style including the "Three Kings" (Albert, Freddie, and BB King) and Johnny "Guitar" Watson.

Vaughan has played with the likes of Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, BB King, Gary Clark Jr., and the Foo Fighters.

In 2019, Vaughan's album Baby, Please Come Home was nominated for the Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Album in the 62nd Grammy Awards. Vaughan previously won in that category in 2002 with his album Do You Get the Blues?. He has also won in the Best Contemporary Blues Album and Best Rock Instrumental Performance categories.
