Meet JL King a New York Times best selling author, that has written 16 books. He is the only black gay author who has contracts with 3 major publishing houses. He was discovered by Oprah in 2004 who introduced him to the world. His book has sold over 1.5 million copies, reading at 16 universities, translated into 6 languages and is currently being shopped for a movie.

He has spoke at 23 Universities and been presented with awards as an outstanding author. He also have written and produced 5 stage plays. Including the successful play that opened on off Broadway in 2015 to a sold out theater for 6 weeks. His play RAW was adapted into a play that toured for 4 years.

He also has been featured on CNN, Wendy, Newsweek, A USA Today best selling author. A guest on Steve Harvey, Tom Joynier and over 27 radio shows around the world. He also has been on many magazine covers including Ebony, Essence and Jet and countless more. He started JL King Publishing to help aspiring authors succeed as independent authors.
