Joachim W. Walewski is a research scientist at Siemens Corporate Technology, Networks & Communications in Munich, Germany. He has been active in the fields of Optical Wireless Communications (with an emphasis on Visible-Light Communications), Green ICT, system architectures, and the Internet of Things. Projects he currently contributes to are www.iot-a.eu and www.iot-at-work.eu. He has authored and co-authored ten national and international patent applications.
