At the age of 32, Joan Brock suddenly lost her sight due to a rare eye disease, in a period of just three weeks while she was working at a school for blind children. Five years later, she faced another profound challenge when her husband passed away from cancer, leaving her to raise their young daughter as a blind, single parent.

Joan Brock is not only a motivational speaker but also an accomplished author. She has written books such as "Come To Your Senses: An Inspirational Guide for Using All of Your Senses" and "More Than Meets the Eye: The Story of a Remarkable Life and a Transcending Love". Her presentations cover a wide range of topics including Women, Attitude, Change, Education, and Communication, focusing on overcoming adversity and viewing life’s challenges as opportunities.
