Joanna Lohman is a retired professional soccer player and a former member of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team. A professional athlete for over twelve years, Lohman played as a midfielder for several National Women's Soccer League teams, including the Washington Spirit, the Washington Independence, the Philadelphia Independence, and the Boston Breakers.

Throughout her career, Lohman has utilized her platform to impact people around the world. She is a professional speaker for leading organizations such as the U.S. Department of State, Procter & Gamble, Tedx, and Muse.

She has also served as a Sport Diplomat, traveling the world and running programs in less developed nations that promote gender equality, conflict resolution, cultural understanding, and economic development. She has helped individuals and groups learn to live an unabashedly authentic life based around deep-rooted acceptance and comfort in their own skin. '

Lohman holds bachelor's degrees in business and math from Pennsylvania State University, where she was a starter on the soccer team all four years of her college experience. In 2002 and 2003, she was the NCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year, and she was a three-time All-American. In 2003, she was the Big 10 Player of the Year.
