Jody Greenstone Miller served as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Business Talent Group (BTG), the leading global platform for top independent consultants and executives participating in project-based work from 2007 to 2023. BTG serves over 40% of the Fortune 100, was named three years in a row to Inc. Magazine’s prestigious list of the 5000 fastest-growing companies in America, and to the Forbes list of America’s 100 “Most Promising Companies.” Fortune magazine named Miller one of its ten “Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs,” and E&Y named her one of their Entrepreneurial Winning Women. Miller now serves as a senior advisor to BTG and Heidrick & Struggles, the company that acquired BTG in 2021.

She has served in senior roles in business, government, media, law, and the non-profit world. Prior to founding BTG from 2000 to 2007, Miller was a venture partner focusing on education and media with Maveron, the Seattle-based venture capital firm. She was previously executive vice president and later acting president and COO of Americast, the digital television and interactive services partnership of The Walt Disney Company and five regional telephone companies. Miller also served in the White House as Special Assistant to President Bill Clinton, where she was Deputy to David Gergen, Counselor to the President.

She currently serves on the boards of directors of LKQ (NASDAQ) and Howmet Aerospace (NYSE). She served on the board of Capella Education Company (NASDAQ) for over 15 years until its merger with Strayer Education in 2018 and on the board of TRW (NYSE) for 10 years until its acquisition by ZF in May 2015. Miller serves on the advisory board of the Drucker Institute and on the board of Peer Health Exchange, Inc.
