Joe Bastianich is chef, television personality, restauranteur & vineyard owners. He is a judge on "MasterChef" for the USA, Canada, and Italy versions.
He co-owns a network of thirty restaurants spread across four countries, including the renowned "Osteria Mozza" in Los Angeles. He formed a partnership with Oscar Farinetti to establish "Eataly", a high-end food and wine market, in numerous cities globally. Building on his experiences, Bastianich penned the New York Times Best Seller memoir "Restaurant Man" and has co-authored two award-winning books on Italian wine, further consolidating his authority in the culinary field.
He served as a judge on the American and Canadian versions "MasterChef" series as well as its Italian counterpart "MasterChef Italia." Bastianich has appeared on shows such as "Restaurant Startup," "Top Gear Italia" and "Family Food Fight Italia," and a special appearance in the 2015 television film "An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success". He also participated as a contestant on "The Masked Singer" and "L'isola dei famosi."

As the owner of three vineyards, restaurateur Joe Bastianich knows a bit about wine. After all, he has been curating wine lists since he opened his first restaurant at age 23.
