Growing up on Newark and South Orange, NJ Joetta Clark is an American and International Legendary Icon in Track & Field noted for being a 4-Time Olympian and America's queen of middle distance with a career that spanned three decades, Clark is a leading authority of achievement, motivation and health/wellness. The daughter of immortalized educator, Dr. Joe Clark-the inspiration for the hit movie 'Lean on Me'— She is a renowned inspirational-motivational keynote speaker whose stories of empowerment resonate with audiences as she skillfully weaves her compelling life story into the fabric of our daily lives. The thread is forever strengthened, as Clark provides insight for becoming 'The Champion of Your Life'. As a respected businesswoman, entrepreneur, critically acclaimed author, noted television /radio personality, producer of popular perfume & body care product lines, and an advocate for health and fitness initiatives, Clark is a highly-sought-after resource in profit, nonprofit and educational sectors.

Inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame Class of 2013, The USA National Track & Field Hall of Fame Class of 2009, The Lady Vols University of Tennessee Hall of Fame, 2001,'Clark' was selected as the Women’s Olympic Team Captain for the 2000 Games and was ranked in the top 10 in the 800 meters in the United States for 22 consecutive years.

Joetta has been appointed to Academic Boards and Sports Boards-Committees. Additionally, in 1997, 'Clark' was appointed by the Governor as Commissioner for the New Jersey Sports and Exhibition Authority where she was responsible for helping to ensure that the Meadowlands Sports Complex served as a model for sports and entertainment. 'Clark' also fought against drugs as a special investigator in the Drug Diversion section of the New Jersey Attorney General’s office.

Her extensive work with women, people of color and student-athletes as the basis for her empowerment, and consulting/presentations focused on advancing and improving the culture within organizations.

Additionally, the New Jersey-native established the 'Joetta Clark Diggs' Sports Foundation in 2002 to promote involvement with physical activities for girls and boys in grades K-12. The Foundation also focuses on the correlation between academics and athletics. The JCDSF annual programs include, JoTyme Fitness, the Financial & Fitness Expo, the Head 2 Toe®️ Fitness program, the Fitness Challenge, and Joetta’s Geniuses.
