John Haupert is the President & Chief Executive Officer at Grady Health System. A board-certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, he is a recipient of the ACHE Regent’s Leadership Award, the highest honor given to outstanding leaders by the organization.

Haupert also serves as the Chair of the American Hospital Association Board of Trustees, which represents America’s hospitals and health systems, working to advance health in America.

Before his tenure at Grady, Haupert was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Parkland Health & Hospital System and Executive Vice President of Methodist Health System, both in Dallas.

Haupert is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration.
