John Lester is a nationally known educational consultant and an educator with degrees in Comprehensive Social Studies, Gifted Education, and Educational Administration. John Lester is a graduate of Morehead State University with both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree. John Lester is an Adjunct Instructor at Ashland University in Columbus, Ohio.

John Lester is the Founder and Director of the Ohio Leadership Institute, a statewide, non-profit organization that provides leadership opportunities for Ohio's youth. Lester is also Founder and Director of Ohio Leadership Training Camps, Ohio's only statewide residential leadership camps for kids grades 3-12.

John Lester served as the Key Club Advisor and Directed students in grades 9-12 in community service activities, one of which was selected by President Bush as the Nation's 52nd Point of Light.
