John Rankin, who goes professionally as Rankin, is a world renowned British portrait and fashion photographer and director, best known as the founder of Dazed & Confused magazine.

He has shot the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Kate Moss and The Queen to name a few. Rankin started the bi-annual fashion, culture and lifestyle magazine Hunger in 2011 and launched Rankin films to produce and direct his own commercial and editorial work. He has published over 40 books and remains an authority on visual culture.

He has created landmark editorial and advertising campaigns for some of the most celebrated publications, biggest brands and pioneering charities.

Rankin's group now includes Hunger Magazine and Hunger TV (lifestyle, news, culture and fashion), The Full Service (advertising agency) and Rankin Film (representing directors).
