As Assistant Director of the Center for Immigration Studies, John Wahala manages the day-to-day operations and budget. In this role he also oversees the Center’s development efforts, special events, and addresses journalists and policymakers on a variety of immigration issues.

Mr. Wahala has researched and analyzed immigration at the Center since 2000 and has shared his expertise on major television and radio networks, including Fox News, CNN, and the BBC.

Mr. Wahala earned a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and received a master’s degree from the University’s School of Public Policy.
