Mr. Jon A. Anda has been Executive Vice President of Strategy at Zik Energy Points, Inc., since September 4, 2013. Mr. Anda serves as Head of UBS Environmental Markets Group. Mr. Anda launched UBS Securities Environmental Markets Group in September 2010. As leader of the new UBS group, he works with clean tech, utility, and industrial companies on the application of environmental policy analytics to financial decision making. He began full time environmental markets work in 2007 at the Environmental Defense Fund and as a Visiting Fellow at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy at Duke University. He spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley where he ran a number of business units, including Global Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking & Equities in Asia. He served as Vice Chairman, Institutional Securities of Morgan Stanley from June 2006 to January 2007. He served as Co-Head of Global Capital Markets of Morgan Stanley from August 2005 to January 2006 and Chairman of its Worldwide Equity Capital Markets from April 2005 to January 2006. Mr. Anda joined Morgan Stanley in 1986 and was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance in the Americas, encompassing Morgan Stanley's generalist investment banking practice and regional offices. From 1999 to 2003, he was Global Head of Equity Capital markets and Co-Head of Global Capital Markets after its debt and equity issuance businesses merged in 2002. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1986 and worked in Equity Capital Markets in New York and in Corporate Finance in Chicago. He was Head of Global Equity Syndicate in New York. He moved to Hong Kong in 1995 and headed both the Asian Institutional Equity and Asian Investment Banking Divisions during his four years in the region. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Anda spent six years in the Capital Markets Group at Continental Illinois Bank. Mr. Anda was employed at Credit Suisse Group (ADR). He has been a Director of National Audubon Society, Inc. since February 2011. He served as Trustee of Asia Society , where he founded the U.S. -- China Cooperation on Energy & Climate. Mr. Anda received Master of Management in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1980 and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois in 1979. He also holds M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
