Extensive and diversified experience across global financial services and corporate sectors, including emerging capital markets and regulatory practices. Published, presented, and trained on numerous emerging and complex technical accounting and financial reporting topics with an analytical focus.

Current Head of Standard & Poor’s Ratings - Global Financial Services Accounting Specialist Team. The team provides direction on the manner in which accounting and financial reporting information is analyzed and incorporated in to S&P’s financial analysis and ratings considerations for issuers across the global financial services. Previously covered the corporate sectors across the Americas regions.

Current member of FASB's Investors Advisory Committee (IAC) and an active participant in a number of other committees with a financial reporting focus. Previously served for three years as a member of the Financial Reporting Executive Committee (FinREC, or formerly AcSEC), the senior technical committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for financial reporting.

Prior to joining S&P, served in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Office - M&A group. Member of a select team responsible for advising one of the world’s largest private equity firms on accounting and financial structuring issues. Also, provided audit services across a wide spectrum of industries, serving in the assurance and advisory practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP's New York office.
