Jonathan Sokoloff is managing partner of Leonard Green & Partners LP, which he joined in 1990. He serves on the boards of BJ's Wholesale Club Inc., The Brickman Group Ltd., The Container Store, J. Crew Group Inc., Jetro Cash & Carry Inc., Jo-Ann Stores Inc., Shake Shack, The Sports Authority Inc., Tire Rack Inc., Topshop, Tourneau Inc., Union Square Hospitality Group, and Whole Foods Market. Other companies currently in LGP's portfolio include Petco Animal Supplies Inc., Neiman Marcus Group Inc. and Leslie's Poolmart Inc. Before joining LGP, he was a managing director in investment banking at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He received a B.A. from Williams College, where he co-chairs the Endowment Committee for Private Equity.
