For over 15 years, Jonathon Colman has helped people and organizations build, find, and use the best stuff on the Web. Colman is a Webby Award-winning designer and a keynote speaker who’s appeared at over 90 events in 9 countries on 5 continents. Previously, he led product orgs and design teams at Intercom and Facebook.

Colman has also worked with organizations like REI, The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, and IBM to connect with their customers, launch platforms and tools, and build communities. By leveraging expertise in SEO/Inbound marketing, social media, web analytics, content strategy and agile methodologies, Colman helps organizations become better at what they do so that they can succeed in fulfilling their missions.

Colman has spoken at international conferences on content strategy, SEO, social media, and web analytics. He’s had the honor of presenting at conferences such as Confab, the Content Strategy Forum, MozCon, SMX Advanced, ad:Tech, eTail, the National Press Club, and many more. He’s also created and facilitated workplace-based training programs and multi-day labs/workshops on Internet marketing and strategic planning for teams.

Colman earned a master’s degree in information management from the University of Washington (2013), certification in human-computer interaction at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1998), and a bachelor’s degree in scientific and technical communication from Michigan Technological University (1997).
