Joneigh S. Khaldun, MD, MPH, FACEP is a health care executive, health policy, and public health expert who currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer for CVS Health. In this position, Khaldun leads the company's data-driven strategy to improve access to services, address social determinants of health, and decrease health disparities. Prior to her current role, she made significant contributions as the Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan, leading the state's COVID-19 response and overseeing public health, Medicaid, and behavioral health services.

In 2021, Khaldun was appointed to the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force by President Biden, further emphasizing her pivotal role in public health. Her work and dedication have been recognized with several awards, including the 2021 US News Woman of the Year and the 2020 Crains Detroit Newsmaker of the Year.

Khalduan completed her emergency medicine training at SUNY Downstate-Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY, following her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and MPH in Health Policy from George Washington University. She continues to practice emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. Aside from her professional engagements, Khaldun also holds positions on the Board of the Milbank Memorial Fund and is an Aspen Health Innovator's Fellow, contributing her expertise to these prestigious platforms.
