Jordan Ross Belfort is an American author, motivational speaker, and former stockbroker. He is best known for being the inspiration for 2013 film "The Wolf of Wall Street".

In the 1990s, Jordan Belfort built one of the most dynamic and successful sales organizations in Wall Street history, earning over $50 million a year in personal income.

As the owner and founder of brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont, Belfort employed over 1,000 stockbrokers and raised over $1 billion to start up more than 30 million-dollar companies from scratch.
